MSFDA Board , Chair Nyle & Marketing Committee
With or with out any of the of the below, We need to move on.  I have
done my home work, I know Dave has also.  I believe Cal is on board also
but I do not want to speak for any one else. We know who we are dealing
with for this fund raising. We [Dave and I] like who we are dealing
with.  I don't know what waiting will do for the good but it will cost
us.  Lets have Brain & or staff at the Br. meeting in Jan. to give their
power point talk.  I am planning my trip to NYC to complete my check
list.  I hope the rest of the committee is also. Then the Br. in Jan.
can vote up or down this fund raising and move on.  Again , This is
costing us [MSFDA] over $16,000 a month until the contract is signed.
Each month we wait for ???, or what ever is next, and an other $16,000
is gone.  I hope we do not lose this to an other MN fire Org. ,  and it
can happen.

The Marketing Committee meeting that was still tentativley scheduled
for
Tuesday November 29th in St. Cloud is cancelled.  I still have not
heard
anything back from Tom in response to my October 25th letter and
November
15th email.  Lacking any clear direction from him it is pointless to
meet.
We are also waiting for the ethics committee to meet which was
scheduled for
the 16th but had to reschedule.  Hopefully we can still get a meeting
in
before the board meeting in January.
